CANA's 2026–2027 Academic Year Scholarship Application

The mission of CANA is to “unite and empower the Caribbean Community of North Alabama by fostering social and economic networks that promote interaction, the continuity of Caribbean cultures, and the advancement of the Caribbean Community.”

CANA invites applications from students of Caribbean origin or those with a Caribbean connection attending institutions of higher learning in North Alabama and/or high school seniors accepted to a college or university. We will award five (5) $1,000 scholarships.

Funds will be made to the relevant academic institutions on behalf of successful applicants. For full consideration, applicants should submit completed applications by April 30, 2026.

Scholarships will be awarded at CANA’s Caribbean-American Heritage Gala on June 27, 2026.
